MUSIC MINSTRY

Music is a central part of our ministry. We believe that God is glorified through the use of our talents and voices. Persons are encouraged to offer their talents in the music ministry of our church. Choirs for various age levels and special ensembles provide music for our worship services and special events.

THE CHANCEL CHOIR ~ An adult choir, which also includes some high school and college age students.　 Various types of music are sung at each Sunday service. The choir sings at special church events & presents a Cantata yearly. Rehearsals are on Wednesday evenings at 7:00 pm. From May through September, in the summer choir practice is on Sundays, before the service.
WESLEY CHOIR ~ For children in Kindergarten through Fifth grades. The children rehearse every Wednesday afternoon and sing in the Sunday worship service at least one time a month throughout the school year. In addition, Wesley Choir presents a musical in the spring.

INSTRUMENTS
THE GLORY RINGERS ~ This handbell choir is for adults and rehearses on Thursdays at 7:00 pm. The group performs from late November through early May.　

THE HALLELUJAH RINGERS ~ Open to all middle school and high school students, meeting weekly on Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m. from September through May, participating on Sunday bi-monthly.

THE TRINITY RINGERS ~ Beginning handbell choir for 4^th– 5^th grade students. This group learns about worship through music by ringing on Sunday bi-monthly.

THE CAROL CHIMES ~ Open to Wednesday Cup Kids 2^nd – 3^rd graders, this chime choir teaches children about using music to worship while learning music notation and instrumental techniques. participating in worship bi-monthly.

THE RAINBOW RINGERS ~ Beginning instrumental music for kindergarten – 1^st grade students.　 These little ones meet on Wednesdays and ring in worship four times per year.

YOUTH ORCHESTRA ~ Performs once a month at worship servic3e.

INSTRUMENTS ~ Various instruments are used from time to time in our services; those wishing more information should contact the Chancel Choir Director.
